Our in house health and safety management system is headed up by our M.D. Tom Gent and endorsed by the whole company.
Our Senior Qualified Managers advise on health and safety matters in-house and out on the field on a regular basis. Daily reports are produced and records are kept up to date at site level and filed at our head office in accordance with our ISO 9001-14001 and 18001 Quality Management System.
All of our operatives are CISRS-CSCS trained. At CASS we insist on 100% card holders and the CSCS scheme. Our supervisors are SSSTS qualified and our senior managers hold current SMSTS certificates. Our office staff add support to facilitate the site demands, and as a team we are constantly striving to improve our service provision.
We haved previously won four safety awards for our efforts on the Grand Pier at Weston Super Mare for our client John Sisk & Son. We have also won a silver award for achievement with RoSPA in 2010. We are entering the 2011/12 award scheme.
CASS is also a supporter of the ‘Working Well Together Group’ ( WWT), and is proud to attend every event to which we are invited in order to support their cause.
At CASS our Heath and Safety consultants provide the external support neccessary to cope with all the demands of the industry, from telphone support to on-site inpections and reports. South Wales Safety Consultants are an integral part of CASS’s on-going H&S development.
Through our continued improvement we have no hesitation in requesting an external inspection of our scaffolding installations. For example, at the WILLMOTT DIXON Singleton Hospital project we have had two recent inpsections, and passed every stage. These are attached to download on our testimonial tab.
